How stuff works...

Fletcher were always keen to find out how to do things, work out how to do things better, and learn from other innovators around the world.

When a contract came up for which Fletcher or New Zealand lacked the expertise, the company tracked down people or partners who could help the company develop the skills it needed
for the job, be that building a tunnel or a pulp and paper mill.

Today, the internet makes it easier
than ever before to get information from around the world – including basic technical information on how things work.  Follow these links to learn more about building materials and construction – and to see behind the scenes at some of the projects we’ve built.
